Q: How many bundles do I need for a wig?
A: 2 bundles are recommended for lengths up to 16″, 3 bundles are recommended for lengths 18″-22″, 4 bundles are recommended for lengths longer than 22″. More bundles may be added for fullness. This is just a recommendation. The final decision is up to the customer. The wig may not be as full if you choose to use less than the recommended amount of hair.

Q: Can I ship my hair to you directly from the vendor?
A: Yes, please forward the tracking number to yeshunnie@yahoo.com once it is obtained from the vendor. Please be advised that Yes Hunnie cannot be held responsible if the vendor filled your order incorrectly. It is further recommended that the client have the hair shipped to them first to ensure that the order is correct.

 

Q: Can I come in for a consultation or to get my head measured?
A: Unfortunately, this option is not available. Please refer to the Sizing Chart page for more information on how to measure your head.

 

Q: What is the processing time for units?

A: Standard turn around time is an estimated 2-3 weeks. Rush options are available for an additional fee and can be selected during checkout. We will be in touch frequently throughout the process with updates once your order is submitted.

 

 

Q: Do you have units ready to ship?

A: While the majority of YH units are custom made; there are ready-to-ship units available at times. They are posted when available (typically on Integra and via e-mail subscribers). Ready-to-ship units cannot be customized for sizing and styling they are “as-is”.

 

Q: How do I Track my Order?

A: Once your order is shipped, you will receive tracking info directly via email to keep tabs on your items… We know how eager you will be to receive them! Your Shipment will be shipped to the Shipping Address on file. We are not responsible for lost packages due to errors in Shipping Address inputs. Shipments are made via USPS and tracking information will be sent to you via email when available.

 

Q: What are your delivery options?

A: At the moment, our primary carrier for shipping is USPS for domestic and International items. UPS is an option for International delivery at an additional fee.

 

Q: What kind of product should I use on my wig?

A: When you order your Yes Hunnie unit, you will receive care info with detailed notes about products and how to care for your creation. It is best to use products of high quality, free of drying alcohol and sulfates such as “Herbal Essence” brand. Anything you use on your real hair would also be great for your unit as it is Virgin hair as well. There are also more care videos on the “How-to” page.

 

Q: How long will my units last?

A: Your wig can last for many years depending on the upkeep and usage of the wig. Please feel free to contact us if you should have any questions.

 

Q: If I have no hair, can I wear these units?

A: Yes! The units are snug fit and will conform to your head. You do not have to have hair for the full units or frontal units- the U-part units require hair to be left out. I suggest that my clients with hair loss purchase the YH Wig Grip, which is located under accessories for added grip and security.

 

Q: Can I sew my wig on my braids? Can I use adhesive (glue, tape)? Can my wig be installed with adhesive?

A: Yes luvs you can sew our units on, use tape or adhesive if you so choose, or you can wear them with adhesive.

 

Q: How do I prep my hair for wearing the wig?

A: For wigs, it is best to have a flat base for the wig to lay correctly.  Braid your natural hair in very fine flat cornrows straight back. Some people wear the ‘beehive’ braid style and they find that straight backs work much better. If your hair is straight, you can wrap and then use a wig cap to keep your natural hair in place.

 

Q:I exercise and swim often, will my custom unit stay put?

A: Yes, luv you can workout in your wigs! Clients have purchased units just so they can give their natural hair a break while on a vigorous workout schedule. If you swim in it, make sure to take care of your hair underneath.

 

Q: Can I sleep in the unit?

A: You can for sure sleep in your unit if you’d like. Sleep with a satin scarf or bonnet to prolong the longevity of your unit

 

Q: Can I dye my custom unit?

A: Yes, luv of course, its 100% unprocessed VIRGIN HAIR, you can bleach, color, re-color and color again, just make sure you DEEP CONDITION after any chemical alterations.
